Hello to All, I am Lisa Simmons, wife of Christopher Simmons. Chris's paternal grandmther was Almonia Baylor (Linzmeyer). As stated in a previous post Nana raised her 6 grand children (John, Andrea, Penny, Chris, David and Sherry). She began this journey in the mid 1960"s in Milwaukee and in 1969 she moved the family to San Diego. My husband and his siblings loved their Nana so very much and felt so blessed that she chose to spend her retirement raisng them. Hello Baylor Family, I am the great-great grandson of Ella Baylor, daughter of Reuben and Elvira Baylor. Ella Baylor later went to Kemper County, MS and married William Hudnall and had a daughter, Eva Hudnall (my great-grandmother). Eva later married, Clarence Stewart of Oak Grove, Kemper County and they had 5 children in order: Lee Arthur (1921-2001), Edward (1923-2002), Kanseola (1925- ), William Jacob (1926-2000), and Johanna (1928??-1973). Kanseola (Kay) is alive and well and living in Los Angeles, CA. Great-Grandma Eva passed away in 1996 in Los Angeles, CA. My grandfather was Edward Stewart, he was born in Kemper County, MS in 1923 and when he was 3 the family moved to East St. Louis. My grandfather married the former Doris Jean Fleming of St. Louis, Missouri in 1949 and they had two children, Edward Michael (1950) and Michelle Lynn (1954). My mother is Michelle Lynn and she married Kivy Leon Pridgen Sr. in 1974 and I was born in Nov. of the same year. My sister is Janee Danese Michelle and she was born in 1978. I currently live in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where I am married to the former Gillian Dwyer and have two children, a son Ian Nigel (b. 2004) and a daughter Liliana Rose (b. 2009).
